NADI subsidiary partners with SAC ARMS and PT. DWIMITRA for ammo expansion. – Warungku Terkini

SME Ordnance (SMEO), a subsidiary company of National Aerospace and Defence Industries Sdn. Bhd is proud to announce two more strategic partnerships that were forged during DSA Malaysia 2024 aimed at advancing small arms ammunition production and distribution in both local and international markets.

Firstly, SMEO has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SAC Arms Sdn Bhd, a leading distributor for small calibre ammunition. This collaboration signifies a significant step forward in meeting the increasing demands of the defence market. Under this partnership, both SMEO and SAC Arms Sdn Bhd will combine their expertise and resources to optimise production processes, ensure product quality, and explore opportunities for research and development. The collaboration underscores their shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Datuk Shah Eikhmarizan Mohd Shahrom, CEO of SMEO, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with SAC Arms Sdn Bhd to enhance our capabilities in small arms ammunition production. This collaboration signifies our commitment to delivering high-quality ammunition products to our customers while driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.”

SMEO has previously signed a contract agreement valued at 40 million in 2022 with SAC Arms Sdn Bhd for (5) years on manufacturing and distribution of various shotguns ammunition in the local Commercial market.

Furthermore, SMEO has also entered into a strategic partnership with PT. Dwimitra Pasifik Internasional, a licensed distributor of firearms and related products based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This partnership aims to meet the escalating demand for premium sports shooting ammunition across Indonesia. Under the MOU, SMEO will supply a range of superior ammunition products tailored to enhance the sports shooting experience in Indonesia. This collaboration symbolises a mutual commitment to enhancing the availability and quality of sports shooting resources in Indonesia, a country witnessing a burgeoning interest in competitive shooting sports.

Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between SME Ordnance and Dwimitra Pasifik Internasional, SME Ordnance will supply and deliver a range of superior ammunition products totaling fifteen million (15,000,000) rounds throughout the three (3) year period. These products will be tailored to enhance the sports shooting experience in Indonesia. This partnership underscores SME Ordnance’s commitment to excellence and its strategy to expand its presence in the Southeast Asian market and beyond.

Dwimitra Pasifik Internasional boasts an extensive inventory comprising a wide range of firearms, from generic to customised rifles and pistols, along with an array of accessories, components, spare parts, and related equipment tailored to the needs of shooting enthusiasts. Actively engaged in the Indonesia Shooting Club, also known as PERBAKIN (Persatuan Menembak Indonesia), the company holds exclusive agency for renowned IPSC-recognized firearms, including Battle Arms Development USA, Nighthawk, and ANGSTADT ARMS.
